Young people gathered together in a community setting

Youth Way Initiative keeps young people on the path to independence.

We intervene before preventable problems become emergencies - through mental health support, school fee assistance, employable skills, and safe housing for young people who need a way forward.

Our vision

A world where every young person has a way forward, no matter where they started.

Our mission

Keep young people on the path to independence through mental health support, practical skills, and a safety net for those who need it most.

Our programs

Three integrated programs built around the points where young people most often fall off track.

MIND

Mental Health Support

Subsidized and free counseling and therapy access for students and at-risk youth, with a confidential referral pathway and awareness sessions for early intervention.

SKILL

Education & Employable Skills

School fee support paired with practical, marketable training in IT, trades, and life skills so young people can stay in school and build real livelihoods.

HOME

Safety Net & Housing

Safe, family-style housing for homeless and at-risk youth, supported by volunteer mentors and school enrollment guidance toward independent adulthood.

Who we serve

Young people whose path is interrupted by preventable barriers.

We work with university and tertiary students facing financial strain, academic pressure, or untreated mental health struggles; young people at risk of dropping out of education; and homeless or at-risk youth with no safe home.
